Living Opportunities Management Company was founded in 1975 by Pastor Leroy Doty in order to provide the highest quality affordable housing for his elderly and disabled low-income parishioners.
Initially specializing in affordable housing for the elderly, we have experience managing family units, SROs, and projects for persons with disabilities. We currently manage projects with a variety of funding subsidies including HUD insured and direct loans, project and tenant based Section 8, LIHTC, CHFA, and tax-exempt bonds. Our clients include non-profit and for-profit corporations, limited partnerships and government entities.
LOMCO currently manages 9 affordable housing properties for elderly and physically challenged residents. Approximately 2,031 apartment units provide safe, comfortable housing and many needed services to approximately 2,400 individuals living on limited incomes.
At each of our properties, we are committed to providing services and programs that not only meet residents the physical, social and psychological needs but also promote a healthy, secure, satisfying and useful lifestyle. In order to effectively administer these critical programs, we’ve embraced innovation while ensuring that we continue to meet our own high standards.

One of the first users of the 202 program in California (utilized in 1965 with Brethren Manor development project)
Early adopter of the Resident Service Coordinator program and the only Owner/Management Company with a full time social worker at all our properties.
